On Sunday, September 16, 2012, I am walking/jogging the Philadephia Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon in honor of my dad, Charlie Miller, who died from acute myelogenous leukemia. Since my father died, it has been on my bucket list to run a marathon or half marathon in his honor and I am finally doing it!
I am training with Team In Training and we meet on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings at Memorial Park to run and provide encouragement and support. Joe rocks because, even though he is not going to do the race with me, he has been training too.
