Tina and I also traded pictures and here are a few I didn't have from the day after Lillia's birthday. These are of Lillia opening the presents that Joe and I gave her - specifically, the quilt that Doug and Mom's friend, Ann, handmade for Lillia. My mom picked out all the squares and it is darling!!!
England, December 4, 2009 (Day 19)
Today there were lots of errands, a delicious lunch of sausage, bacon, egg and cheese on a scrumptuous baguette from the Village Shop in South Warnbrough, shopping, another trip to Newlands Farm for more Mars Christmas Treats, the Hook Cracker (everyone agreed it was a crappy fair), dinner at Waterwick (beef and bombadier pie with mash and brown gravy - YUM!) and finally - decorating the Christmas tree! There was also a little last minute laundry and packing because we are going home tomorrow. It's been a fantastic trip but it's always nice to get home too. Of course - we missed snow in Houston today!!!! I can't believe I missed snow in Oslo, it wasn't particularly cold in England and I missed the one week of winter in Houston!
