Monday, December 7, 2009 - back to reality

Of course, I'm sorry not to see my friends on a daily basis but I have to admit that I'm glad to be home. I love my own bed and shower. I also missed my mom, Doug and Alex!! Joe and I went to my mom and Doug's yesterday for a couple of hours and had a lovely visit. We still haven't had a chance to catch up with Alex so hopefully in the next couple of days.

Today, I am going to the post office to pick up 3 weeks worth of mail. I'm guessing lots of catalogs and junk mail but hopefully a few good things too - like holiday cards!

Joe is back to school today and I have 2 recitals (tom and Wed) and an audition later this week (maybe Thurs). We are back to reality and, for the first time ever, I didn't feel anxious, sick and completely dread coming home from vacation. What an awesome feeling!!
